‘Between the Lines’ is a study of the fluctuant nature of one’s personality. The images in this work explore the paradox of the individual and its concurrent counterpart of the universality of the socio-cultural influence on our cognitive processes.
The abstracted imagery represents how the concept of the personality is not to be approached with the thought of singularity but with the understanding of it as a multifaceted, highly complex system of decisions and emotions. These decisions, being either subconscious or conscious, are constantly being made. Consequently, merging into a fluctuating abstracted and arguably conditioned being of the self.
